Major order of Isuzu 7.5-tonners for Wren Kitchens
Wren Kitchens and Bedrooms has taken delivery of the first 20 of 70 new Isuzu N75.190(E) trucks with demountable box bodies, its largest single procurement of 7.5-tonne rigids from the manufacturer since the two businesses began working together nearly a decade ago.
The new vehicles represent both replacements for older trucks and new additions designed to support impressive business growth across the UK. They join a 410-strong commercial fleet, with 125 of the company's 7.5-tonners supplied by Isuzu Truck UK.

The specialist demountable bodies, designed by Wheelbase Engineering, have been purpose-built for multi-drop home deliveries, maximising the impressive payload capacity of the 7.5-tonne N-Series. Each features ancillary lockers for the storage and transportation of home protection kits and safety equipment, as well as a designated water-tight compartment for a fire extinguisher. With these items previously stored in the cab, the updated build improves operational efficiency, accessibility, safety and driver comfort.
Full support for five years
All 70 of the new trucks will be supplied on a five-year Full Repair and Maintenance contract, with all work carried out by Isuzu Truck UK's comprehensive dealer network. Wren will also benefit from the manufacturer's standard three-year unlimited-mileage warranty on each of the chassis cabs, which comes as standard. Furthermore, a dedicated representative from the Customer CARE Team will also be on hand to provide ongoing support.

Conducting deliveries across the UK, the 7.5-tonners will be on the road up to six days per week and are expected to travel 75,000 miles annually. They will remain in the fleet for five years, in line with the company's vehicle replacement policy.
